What is Foodstirs?

We’re a bunch of junk-free bakers.

Our mission? To clean up your favorite treats and satisfy your sweet cravings. Whether you make it yourself or we make it for you, Foodstirs is always Junk-Free with organic, sustainable, clean ingredients and a lot less sugar.

We believe in keeping the YUM HIGH, the SUGAR LOW and nothing artificial.

Where can I buy Foodstirs?

Foodstirs products can be purchased at foodstirs.com, Amazon, or at fine retailers across America. You can visit the Find Us page on our website to find the closest market to you.

Are Foodstirs products suitable for young children?

While all of our products are delicious to all, the baking kits are best suited to Foodstirs fans who are 6+.

How do I give product feedback?

We always love to hear about your Foodstirs experience or your suggestions. Email is the best way to reach us! You can email us at info@foodstirs.com.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we do have a Foodstirs referral program. Invite your friends and they will receive 20% off the purchase of a new subscription (not combinable with other promos). You will get a 20% off credit for each friend who makes a purchase using your referral link!

How can I share my Foodstirs creations?

Where do you source your ingredients?

We ethically source our ingredients from the best places on earth without compromising quality or sustainability. We only use fair trade cocoa and chocolate chips and source locally whenever possible.

About Baking Mixes

Are your baking mixes vegan?

All our baking mixes are vegan, except Sunday Stacks Pancake Mix which includes Whey. Our original recipes call for eggs and milk, they can be tailored to fit a vegan diet with substitutions such as flaxseed for eggs, almond, and coconut milk.

Are your baking mixes gluten-free?

Our Foodstirs Keto Chocolate Chip Cookie, Keto Chocolate Brownie, and Keto Chocolate Cake Mixes are gluten-free. Our other baking mixes and baking kits contain organic wheat flour and are not gluten-free.

Are your baking mixes non-GMO and organic?

Absolutely! All our mixes are certified organic and non-GMO.

Are your baking mixes kosher?

All of our baking mixes are OU-certified kosher.

What are the baking times in high altitude?

If baking at a higher altitude, please allow up to five more minutes than our recipes suggest for your treats to bake through. Be sure to keep a close eye on the oven for those extra few minutes to ensure perfectly cooked treats!

Are there peanuts in your product?

We do not use nuts in any of our recipes. However, our dry mixes are prepared and packaged using equipment that may come into contact with egg, soy, and tree nuts. For example, but not limited to pecans and coconuts. Peanuts are not in any of our facilities.

What is the shelf life on your baking mixes?

The shelf life of the Foodstirs mixes is 12 months from the manufacturing date. The date is printed on the back of each box at the top.

How do you calculate the Net Carbs for the Keto Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix?

 

We follow the Carbs - Fiber - Sugar Alcohols = Net Carbs formula!

What is the sweetener blend that is used?

Foodstirs has created a proprietary organic sweetener blend, made of 100% natural ingredients: Stevia leaf, Erythritol, and a little cane sugar for optimum texture and taste. This allows our products to still taste delicious without the high amount of sugar.

What is Stevia?

Originally from Paraguay and native to the Sunflower family, the Stevia leaf provides 200x the sweetness of sugar but has no caloric value and never raises blood sugar levels. Each stevia leaf has many sweet compounds, some are sweeter than others and some can be slightly bitter. After months of research, we identified the leaf combination with all the sweetness and none of the bitterness.

What is Erythritol?

Erythritol naturally occurs in some fruits and vegetables, and fermented foods like soy sauce. It is part of a family of sweeteners called sugar alcohols. Erythritol has minimal calories and a low impact on your blood sugar, while still having about 70% of the sweetness of sugar.

All of our sweet snacks are certified organic and non-GMO.

Are your sweet snacks vegan?

They are not currently vegan.

Are your sweet snacks gluten-free?

The sweet snacks are not gluten free.

Are your sweet snacks kosher?

All of our sweet snacks are OU-certified kosher.

What is the sweetener blend that is used?

Foodstirs has created a proprietary sweetener blend that is made of natural ingredients. This allows our products to still taste delicious without the high amount of sugar. Learn more about our sweetener here.

What is the shelf life on your products?

Our fresh baked sweet snacks are made from organic ingredients with no artificial preservatives.

When received, they can be stored frozen for up to 12 months or we recommend consuming them within 14-21 days upon receipt. Please refer to the best buy date on your package for optimal taste quality and experience.

About Baking Kits

What is included in each baking kit?

Each baking kit includes all the shelf stable ingredients needed to bake and decorate our treats along with a simple step-by-step recipe card and activity sheet.

Just add eggs, butter, vegetable oil or a little yogurt and enjoy!

What is the shelf life on your products?

Our baking kits have a shelf life of 6 months. The best buy date is printed on the bottom of the kit and printed on each edible component.

Are your baking kits vegan?

With a few exceptions, most baking kits can be made vegan. The Out Of This World Galaxy Donut Kit and Pancake Art Kit cannot be made vegan as they contain the Sunday Stacks Pancake Mix which contains dairy. To find out if a specific kit can be made vegan, please contact support@foodstirs.com

Are your baking kits gluten-free?

The baking kits are not gluten-free.

Are your baking kits non-GMO and organic?

All our baking mixes are certified organic and non-GMO. The natural dyes in each kit are non-GMO.

Are your baking kits kosher?

All of our baking mixes are OU-certified kosher and the natural dyes in each kit are Kosher Pareve. Please check the packaging on any other components in your specific kit to verify.

Orders, Shipping & Delivery

How do you ship your baking mixes, kits, and sweet snacks?

We work with several shipping carriers to deliver our products including FedEx, USPS, and UPS.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders delivered to continental U.S. addresses over $30 qualify for free shipping. Shipping to addresses within the continental US will cost $7.99 USD.

We also offer expedited shipping for orders shipping within the continental US. You will be able to select expedited shipping on the checkout page under shipping method.

When will my order arrive?

Once your order is placed, our warehouse team will start preparing your order to ship. Please give them up to 2 business days to carefully pick and prepare your order. You can expect your box to arrive in the next 5 to 7 business days once you get the tracking information through email. 

For orders within the U.S. with expedited shipping, your box will arrive in 3-5 business days after our warehouse packs it up. You can also find your tracking number in your order history. 

To make sure our warehouse staff can enjoy their weekends, we do not ship on Saturday or Sunday so orders received Friday-Sunday will ship within 24-48 hours starting on Monday. 

If you ordered The Baker’s Club subscription, your kit will ship at the beginning of each even-numbered month: February, April, June, August, October, December. You will receive email updates on the status of your order and when it will be shipping. 

Can I change my shipping address?

We typically cannot change your shipping address once your order has been placed. We will make every effort to honor your request if received within 24 hours of placing order.

Can I include a gift note?

Currently, we do not have the ability to include Gift Messages with your order. This feature will become available in the coming months.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We do not ship internationally or outside the continental United States.

Are you able to expedite a package?

We currently offer expedited shipping for orders shipped within the continental United States. You will be able to select the option for expedited shipping on the checkout page under shipping method.

Please allow 1 business day for your order to process and ship. You will receive an email with a tracking number and your box will arrive within 3-5 business days.  

Can I track my shipment?

Yes. Your FedEx, UPS, or USPS tracking information will be sent to you via email when your order is on the way!

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?

Unfortunately, we currently do not ship to P.O. boxes.

What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns due to food safety protocols. If you have any issues or questions with your order, please feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team at support@foodstirs.com.

The Baker's Club Subscription Program

What is the Bakers Club Subscription Program?

The Foodstirs Bakers Club delivers a convenient, delicious, and fun baking experience delivered to your door every other month. These curated, themed kits are a great way to surprise and delight your entire family! From tie-dye sugar cookies and donuts to snowflake brownies, every kid in the house (moms & dads too!) will enjoy the experience while learning new skills, expressing their creativity, and bringing smiles to the whole family!

There are several different subscription packages to choose from whether you are looking for a 1-time gift or a gift that keeps on giving. All subscriptions can be canceled at any time. 

  • Bakers Club 1 Kit Auto-Renew. 

This is a pay-as-you-go subscription. You will be charged $25.99 + shipping every other month at the time each seasonal kit is released to ship. 

  • Baker's Club pre-paid 3-kit GIFT. 

This is a one-time purchase of 3 kits. 1 unique kit is shipped every other month until 3 kits have shipped.

  • Baker's Club pre-paid 3-kit. 

This is a one-time purchase of 3 kits. 1 unique kit is shipped every other month for 6 months. Once your pre-paid plan is complete, it conveniently rolls into the 1-kit Baker’s Club.

  • Baker's Club pre-paid 6-kit GIFT.  

This is a one-time purchase of 6 kits. 1 unique kit is shipped every other month until 6 kits have shipped.

  • Baker's Club pre-paid 6-kit.  

This is a one-time purchase of 6 kits. 1 unique kit is shipped every other month for 12 months. Once your pre-paid plan is complete, it conveniently rolls into the 1-kit Baker’s Club.

How many kits will I receive in the 3 kit/6 kit subscription?

You will receive 1 kit each season, shipped every other month. For example, in a 3 kit subscription you will receive 1 kit every 60 days over the span of 6 months. In a 6 kit subscription you will receive 1 kit every 60 days over the span of 12 months.

What is the difference between a pre-paid subscription and a pre-paid gift subscription?

A pre-paid subscription allows you to pre-pay for a specific number of kits, either 3 or 6, and continue to receive kits after the pre-paid kits have shipped complete. Once the pre-paid kits have shipped, the program rolls into the 1-kit plan. You will be billed for a single kit when the new season’s kit ships every other month. You can cancel the 1-kit program at any time.

A pre-paid gift subscription ends after the pre-paid kits have shipped complete.

When will my subscription ship?

Please note: Any additional mixes, kits or sweet snacks ordered with your original subscription will ship at the same time as the subscription kit.

Can I change the shipping address for my shipments?

Yes! Login to your account at www.foodstirs.com to update your shipping address. After you update your profile, send us an email so we can verify the address change from our end.

Requests to update the shipping address must be received by the 25th of the month to impact the upcoming season’s kit. Once a kit has shipped, we are unable to process an address change. 

How do I deactivate or cancel my subscription?

Login to your account at www.foodstirs.com to deactivate or cancel your subscription. 

Cancellations need to be processed by the 25th of the month to impact the upcoming season’s kit.  We are unable to provide refunds and/or stop shipments once the order has shipped.

We are unable to accept returns as the baking kits are edible. If your box has already shipped and you refuse the shipment you will still be responsible for the charges associated with that shipment.

If I cancel my auto-renew subscription, will I still receive the rest of my kits?

Yes, as long as you do not request to cancel your queued kits, you will still receive them as scheduled.

Can I get a refund on my subscription?

Yes! 

Requests made within 30 days of your original purchase are eligible for a full refund. Requests after 30 days will be pro-rated based on the number of kits remaining in your subscription.

Subscribe & Save

What is Subscribe to Save?

With our Subscribe to Save feature, you will be able to receive regularly scheduled shipments of the sweet snacks and receive a 5% discount on each item.

Can I change how frequent my Subscribe to Save order ships out?

Yes! You can adjust the frequency by logging into your account. We currently offer monthly or bi-month deliveries of your favorite sweet snacks. 

We are available to chat online Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm Pacific Time - just look for the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page. If you are contacting us outside of our business hours or prefer to send us an email, you can email us at support@foodstirs.com   

To ensure that all account updates are completed promptly, please contact us at least three (3) days prior to your next billing date. We cannot refund or stop a shipment once an order has processed.

How do I change the shipping address on my Subscription?

To change the shipping address on your Subscribe to Save order, please log in to your account. From there, you should be able to see your active Subscribe to Save order(s) and edit the shipping address. You must also change your shipping address in your account so your monthly shipments will be sent to the correct address.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Am I able to skip my next subscription delivery?

You can make changes your subscription by logging in to your account. Please plan to make any changes at least three (3) days prior to your next billing date. We cannot refund or stop a shipment once an order has processed.

Can I get expedited shipping with my Subscribe to Save order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to expedite a Subscribe to Save order.

Yes! Log into your account in the upper right corner of the site and choose billing options to change your method of payment.

Can I edit my order once it has been placed?

We want to be able to get you baking and sweet snacking as quickly as possible. Once your order is placed, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
