Digital Marketing Manager  

Location: Santa Monica, CA                      Status: Full Time       Start Date: 

About the Role:

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be leading and executing all digital media marketing initiatives for the growing Foodstirs brand. You will partner with executive team to design and implement digital marketing and paid media strategy, focusing on channel, audience and creative testing and optimization. This role will be critical in driving plans to achieve growth objectives, and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth and challenging startup environment. 



  1. Plan and implement consumer and business marketing initiatives involving demographic targeting, segmentation, AB Testing, personalization and UI/UX optimization for the website
  2. Manage SEM, SEO, paid social, influencer marketing programs for eCommerce
  3. Responsible for day-to-day management of campaigns and oversee paid digital agency. This includes, ad copy writing, managing creative assets, bid management, creative optimization, budget management, etc.
  4. Plan, write, build, and send weekly emails. Manage database segmentation, presentation and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns.
  5. Coordinate and execute referral & loyalty programs
  6. Coordinate, plan, and execute consumer surveys
  7. Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate digital marketing data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
  8. Work with technology to ensure proper reporting and management for marketing campaigns
  9. Website Monitoring - Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools.
  10. Performs day-to-day website UI/UX analysis and updates website as needed with photo and assets
  11. Assisting in the planning and developing of strategies for increasing engagement and conversion
  12. Works closely with executive team to execute marketing initiatives online

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years in digital marketing
  • Detailed-oriented, well-organized and reliable
  • Excellent analytical skills; high proficiency in reporting tools and Excel
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new priorities
  • Passion for food and e-commerce is a plus!


  • 1 year of Adobe Photoshop
  • Experience with email tools (mail chimp, klaviyo etc.) highly desired
  • Knowledge with Shopify platform a plus
