Baked Apple Cider Cake Donuts

Ingredients

1/2 package Foodstirs Vanilla Cake Mix

1 cup apple cider

1 egg

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

For the cinnamon sugar topping: 

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a stand mixer, blend together the cake mix, apple cider, egg, cinnamon and cloves until smooth.

Spoon the batter into a large ziplock bag. Cut the tip off to make 1/2 inch opening. Pipe the batter into a a greased donut pan, filling each well 3/4 full. Bake on 350°F for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from oven and let donuts cool for 5 minutes. Mix together the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush each donut lightly with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on each donut. Serve immediately and enjoy!
