Fill a small pot 1/4 full with water and bring to a boil on the stovetop. Reduce heat to simmer, then place a glass bowl on the pot, leaving about 2 inches of space between the bowl and the water.
Place chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter OCHO candies in the bowl, and stir occasionally until melted and smooth. Remove bowl from heat.
Pour 6 cups of cereal into a large bowl. Drizzle melted chocolate mixture over cereal, then toss gently with a rubber spatula to evenly distribute. Sprinkle frosting mix over cereal, then toss once more to evenly coat cereal.
