To make chocolate ganache: Bring heavy cream to a simmer on the stove top, stirring occasionally. Just as soon as you see a simmer, remove from heat and pour over chocolate chips, swirling the bowl to make sure all chips are covered.
Place lid on chocolate chips to trap the heat and let sit undisturbed (no mixing) for 5 minutes. Remove lid and swirl the chocolate chips with a whisk starting in the center and working outward until smooth.
For mug cake: Pour the Foodstirs™ Organic Celebration Confetti Minute Mug Cake into a microwave-safe mug. An 8 oz mug is recommended. Add 2 Tbsp of hot water and stir with a spoon until well combined. Microwave on high for 1 minute or until fully cooked. Cooking time may vary based on the microwave.
Carefully, remove the mug from the microwave, using the handle. The mug will be hot. Let cool for one minute.
Using an apple corer, remove the center of the mug cake to make the mug cake into a donut shape. Pour ganache over the top of the mug cake. Add sprinkles for the topping. Enjoy!
