Brownie Brittle

Brownie Brittle

1 box Foodstirs Organic Chocolate Lovers Brownie Mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips 
1/4 cup liquid egg whites
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon milk or water
1 teaspoon Turbinado Cane Sugar (optional)


Preheat the oven to 300 degrees.

Line a 12 x 17 baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix all ingredients (except for the Turbinado Cane Sugar) in a medium sized bowl.

Once properly combined, spread the mix thinly across the parchment paper. The layer should be about an 1/8" thick. The mix will not cover the entire baking sheet.

Bake for 20 minutes. Use a tooth pick to test it. If it's not ready, bake for another 20 minutes. This is also a good time to sprinkle the Turbinado Cane Sugar on top for an extra kick.

Continue to check the brittle every 15-20 minutes until fully baked.

Turn off the oven and leave the sheet of brownie brittle in the oven to dry out for a few hours. The longer, the better.

Once the brittle is firm, break it up and enjoy!
