DirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter and brown sugar until thickened, then add apple cider and organic cake mix and blend until smooth.
Divide batter evenly into the cupcake liners and bake 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool cupcakes completely on a wire rack.
To make the frosting, use and an electric hand blender to mix the butter and cream cheese together in a medium sized bowl. Beat on high for one minute until fluffy. Add maple syrup, cinnamon and frosting mix and blend a minute more until smooth.
Place frosting into a piping bag or plastic storage bag fitted with a star tip. Pipe frosting onto each cupcake and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.
